Four Season Oolong - Gold Prize
Four Season Oolong - Gold Prize
Four Seasons Oolong, or Si Ji Chuan is a recently developed cultivar first discovered in the 1980’s in northern Taiwan. It is famous, as the name implies, for its ability to be harvested in any season of the year, though winter and spring harvests are considered superior.
This tea was awarded the gold prize at the Taiwan Tea Life Show of 2023. Its taste is bold and complex. It brews surprisingly sweet, with a vanillic/sweet almond frosting character backed up by heavy florals and classic gourd vegetable notes. This is a truly high caliber, near perfect tea for the true connoisseurs.
