Gaoshan Gushu Black
Gaoshan Gushu Black
Our Ancient Tree black is harvested from gushu (over 100 year old) tea trees from a single village in China’s famous Yiwu mountains. Gaoshan (“high mountain”) Village is especially famous for the mellow and flowery teas its fertile soil produces. Handpicked and naturally dried, this tea has both strength and complexity. This is an exceedingly fruity and mellow black tea that is both complex and easy to drink. This is the type of material that would usually go to making high-end sheng pu’er, but has been processed as a black tea in order to increase its sweetness and drinkability.
