The Weeping and Gnashing of Teeth is a Death Day Drag commemoration to celebrate and remember LGBTQIA+ lives taken from our community too soon. LGBTQIA+ individuals are 4 times more likely than non-LGBTQ+ individuals to suffer from violent victimization - including SA, R***, simple and/ or aggravated assault. In 2021 alone - there have been 44 recorded deaths of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals by fatal violence.
