Swing Aggregate is an electric bebop inspired jazz band as well as a Gypsy Jazz Band! We have sets that cater to both types of music and are entirely different from each other! As lovers of all parts of the jazz idiom we wanted the freedom to play both. Our traditional jazz band (guitar, piano/organ and drums) consists of all instrumental music; while our gypsy jazz band (two guitars, violin, and bass) is more upbeat featuring acoustic instrumentation, vocals, and high velocity soloing. On July 31st we will be featuring our traditional jazz band!
