Son Ravello is the newest project of American singer-songwriter and composer Mike Caruso. Caruso was the lead singer/ guitarist for the Oregon based indie folk trio Kites + Crows who went on to tour the West Coast and perform alongside bands such as The Decemberists, Horse Feathers, John Prine and more. Caruso still performs some of the songs from that project. Caruso, originally from the Littleton, Massachusetts, a rural town west of Boston, delivers a poetic sensibility. His fascination with sound and affinity with nature offers mellow and picturesque dynamics to his lyrics and melodies. With his signature kick drum, dynamic acoustic guitar and intimate baritone vocals, Son Ravello serves heartwarming and meaningful repertoire.

Caruso founded Magnetic West Music, which he calls a music convergence company and it has produced music for major network television shows, film and media. His music has been featured in TV shows such as Blindspot (NBC), The Night Shift (NBC), Dateline (NBC), Reign (The CW), NatGEo Wild and more. Caruso also writes a blog entitled #MusicMakesTheMoment which focuses on the convergence of music with media and lifestyle and the soundtrack of our lives.
