Ted Stevens is a guitarist and explorer of stringed instruments. He blends the styles of those who came before him to bring a new flavor to the genres he loves. Playing a range from psych rock, to folk, to ambient, he strives to push the envelope of what can be expressed in sound. This performance will be centered around acoustic studies and improv. 

Musician Nicolette Andres brings the music of the Hardanger fiddle to Trident. This folk instrument comes from Norway, and has a natural reverb because of sympathetic strings (think sitar). Like the landscapes of Norway, the sound of this fiddle is sweeping, expansive, icy, vibrant and eerie at times. Hear dance tunes and folk music unlike any other.
