Matthew Hecht's path has, over some decades, taken him from cycling to science to songwriting. Raised in Portland, Oregon, after some years in Colorado Springs and Boulder he now makes his home in Santa Fe.
Matthew's songwriting, recognized at the New Mexico Music Awards, appears on three full-length albums and an EP (and in this era of streaming can be found on the usual services). He also plays bluegrass, most often with a group that sometimes call themselves The Iconoklasts.
