Radical Evolution: Reimagining Capitalism for People and the Planet

 Trident Booksellers and Cafe

 Wednesday, October 2, 7 p.m.

In a world where economic systems often leave people and the planet behind, the time to radically rethink capitalism is now.

Join Dr. Matthew King, a fearless explorer, social entrepreneur, and creative advisor, as he delves into the urgent need for change to ensure the future of capitalism and its potential to empower individuals and protect the Earth. Drawing from his journey—from the working-class and industrial roots of West Tulsa, Oklahoma, to his global adventures in over 45 countries and a life-altering discovery—Matthew offers a bold vision for how capitalism can evolve to meet the demands of a more just and sustainable future. Blending economic insights with a passion for social and environmental justice, Matthew challenges the status quo. He explores models like Conscious Capitalism and Doughnut Economics that shift the focus from profit to people and the planet.

This talk will resonate with those who believe in a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world and are ready to reimagine our economic system. Whether you're an activist, student, or seeker, come prepared to question everything and explore how we, as a collective, can reshape capitalism's future for the benefit of people, the planet, and peace.
