Sneaki Bandit is said to write songs from the wind. In raw defiance of convention, the folk-punk-poet's 2023 EP Hardy as a Fool captures aching heartstrings and wistful wanderlust through a mix of originals and covers. Backed by band the Scavengers, an eclectic group of musical talents, Sneaki Bandit’s songs take full form before they take flight before your very ears, exuding influences such as Joni Mitchell, Lucinda Williams and her band, and Patti Smith Group.
