I, Dominick Antonelli, am originally from Pittsburgh, PA and have been playing guitar for the last 19 years. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the beginning years of playing were building a support system, a form of therapy, to help navigate tough childhood experiences. At age 16, I was introduced to alternate tunings, and that completely changed my playing experience, and my life. It gave me space to start exploring and developing my own feel/sound, without having the knowledge of theory. I am inspired by many musicians such as Andy Mckee, Keller Williams, Watchhouse, Elephant Revival, The Grateful Dead, Squeeda, Trevor Hall, Flook and many others. I feel so blessed to have a wide ray of musical influence, yet the sound has been refined through my life and character. I play a mix of instrumental pieces and songs with lyrics, both of which have been inspired by my experiences in search of self awareness and lessons through traveling. I have played at music festivals on the east coast, one in Costa Rica and Thailand. The music continues to refine and continues to surprise me in what decides to come out of these fingers.
