"A result of organic collaboration within Boulder's local music community, Minto-Sparks and Friends is a showcase crafted by live music lovers, for live music lovers. Before her advent as a professional guitarist and singer, local musician Sarah Minto-Sparks sought musical experience and community through Boulder's open mics. Here, she formed long-term collaborations with a number of local musicians, each with a unique personality and musical style. In this two-hour variety show, Sarah Minto-Sparks brings over a dozen local musicians to the Trident stage to showcase the unique sound she has developed with each of them. This rapid-fire rotation of musical "snacks" samples an array of genres, from bluegrass and fingerstyle guitar to R&B and pop, and is a celebration of Boulder's thriving and diverse live music scene."
