Clouds & Mist
Clouds & Mist
This is a tea we have imported every year for several years in a row, but one which never fails to surprise us. Last year’s harvest was much heavier on tea buds, resulting in a more fragrant and sharper taste, however we tend to prefer this year’s version, which features more whole tea leaves. This results in a much brothier, richer and almost soup-like viscosity, as well a strong nuttiness on the palette. It was plucked from high-elevation tea gardens around Nankeng Village in northeastern Fujian province. This should be a very straightforwardly satisfying classic green tea suitable for those looking for a nicely rounded but still somewhat grassy flavor.
