This very high grade matcha was shaded for over 35 days, resulting in a deep, mellow, and potent tea which is appropriate for any style of matcha drinking, but especially ceremonially from a chawan. It is hand-picked and made from very young tea leaves, then it is stone-ground in the traditional manner. We highly recommend this to Japanese tea aficionados.
