Sencha Moegi
Sencha Moegi
Moegi translates to “green spring.” It is a light and refreshing sencha tea with a noticeable calming effect. We tastes notes of violets and floral hops, alongside a traditional sea-vegetable profile characteristic of Japanese green teas. This one goes down easy and should make an enjoyable daily drinker for fans of Sencha and Gyokuro teas.
“Mogei” refers to the bright, vivid green color of both the tea leaf and the brewed liquor. It was made from totally unshaded Yabukita bushes growing in Kyoto, Japan. Being completely unshaded (many of our other senchas receive some amount of shading), the flavor is somewhat sharper and more vibrant, but does not lack in depth or sweetness.
