Sencha Yabukita

$10.00

Yabukita is the most ubiquitous tea cultivar in Japan, used for about 70% of green teas on the island. In addition to being a hearty crop, it is renowned for its balanced flavor and powerful umami. A delicate and sophisticated tea, this Yabukita Sencha is best steeped at a lower temperature. When brewed properly, it has remarkably clear floral notes, as well as a crisp herbaciousness and soft, pleasing umami.

This sencha was shaded for ten days in order to mellow and deepen its flavor.
