Silver Needle, or Baihao Yinzhen, is a world-renowned white tea made from only the tender downy buds of spring tea plants. Compared with other white teas such as Bai Mu Dan and Shou Mei, which are made from the tea plant’s larger leaves, the bud-heavy Silver Needle is much more delicate and subtle. Using only early spring’s still closed tea buds, this tea produces much lower yields and is highly sought after.

Our spring harvested silver needle is exceedingly soft and delicate. It’s aroma suggests soft candy, bamboo leaves, and juicy white fruits. It is easy to drink, but does take some experience to truly appreciate. Highly recommended for those who prefer sweeter teas with subtly and poise.
